“I met Jesse when he began training at our Richmond gym in West London in 2012. He was with us for a few years before returning to Australia.

The gym was an affiliate of Grappling Fight Team (GFT), and Head Instructor Gabriel Rainho would come in and roll with us on a semi-regular basis.

We were both purple belts at the time and Jesse would alternate his days rolling with me and sparring with the boxers and MMA guys including Chase Morton who would go on to sign with Bellator MMA.
